Dark Matter and Particle Physics
The operation of CERN LHC is imminent. One can easily find abundant posts around the web, starting from Higgs particle, black hole to dark matter. It is easy to detect the excitement generated by this huge machine in the physics community. Today I stumbled across a review article for general physics audience written by Peskin.
http://arxiv.org/abs/0707.1536v1
He summarize the evidence of dark matter and covers what he expects to happen in the LHC. It would be exciting if in fact the LHC would detect dark matter.
